Validation by Educational Experience (VEE)
Validation by Educational Experience Exams are required for any student interested in pursing an actuarial career. Thankfully, NYU students can exempt themselves from these exams by earning a B- or better grade in the corresponding courses.

Notes:
The Economics and Finance examinations are required for both the Society of Actuaries and the Casualty Actuarial Society.
The Mathematical Statistics examination is not required for the Casualty Actuarial Society, but is required for the Society of Actuaries.
